Duplicate Driving Licence Online સેવા દ્વારા ગુમ, નષ્ટ, ફાટેલું, defaced અથવા વાંચી ન શકાય એવું Driving Licence બદલવા માટે અરજી કરી શકાય છે. Ministry of Road Transport and Highwaysનું current Form 2 “Duplicate Driving Licence”ને licence-related service તરીકે સામેલ કરે છે.
અરજી Sarathi Parivahan પર શરૂ થઈ શકે છે, પરંતુ documents upload, fee payment, appointment અને RTO visitની જરૂર રાજ્ય તથા selected licensing authority પ્રમાણે બદલાઈ શકે છે. તેથી કોઈ private agentને payment કરતાં પહેલાં portal પર દેખાતી acknowledgement અને document list વાંચો.
Duplicate Driving Licence ક્યારે મેળવી શકાય?
Duplicate licence નવા પ્રકારનું licence નથી. તે existing Driving Licence recordના આધારે અપાતી replacement copy છે. સામાન્ય રીતે નીચેના કિસ્સામાં આ service યોગ્ય બને છે:
- Driving Licence ગુમ અથવા નષ્ટ થયું હોય.
- Card ફાટેલું, mutilated અથવા damaged હોય.
- Licence પરની વિગતો વાંચી ન શકાય અથવા print defaced થઈ ગઈ હોય.
- Licence પર લગાડેલો photograph બદલવાની જરૂર હોય.
Licenceની validity પૂરી થઈ ગઈ હોય તો માત્ર Duplicate service પસંદ કરવી યોગ્ય ન હોઈ શકે. Expired licence માટે Driving Licence Renewalના નિયમો તપાસો. નામ અથવા સરનામું બદલવાનું હોય તો Services on Driving Licenceમાં સંબંધિત correction service પસંદ કરો.
અરજી પહેલાં શું તૈયાર રાખવું?
Official Form 2 અને Sarathi acknowledgement મુજબ લાગુ પડતા documents તૈયાર રાખો:
- Existing Driving Licence number અને licence holderની date of birth.
- Form 2 અથવા portal-generated application form.
- Licence ગુમ, mutilated, defaced અથવા damaged થયું હોય તો police complaintની copy.
- Damaged અથવા unreadable original licence, જો તે તમારી પાસે હોય.
- જૂના licenceની photocopy અથવા digital copy, જો ઉપલબ્ધ હોય.
- Portal દ્વારા માગવામાં આવે તો photograph, signature અથવા identity details.
- Application acknowledgement અને payment receipt.
દરેક applicant માટે Aadhaar Card, passport-size photo અથવા FIR એકસરખી રીતે ફરજિયાત છે એવું ન માનો. Form 2 police complaint copy દર્શાવે છે, જ્યારે selected state/RTO portal ચોક્કસ document list અને upload requirement બતાવે છે. Portalના acknowledgement slipને અંતિમ checklist તરીકે અનુસરો.
Police complaint ક્યારે જરૂરી બને?
Driving Licence ગુમ, ચોરી, mutilated, defaced અથવા damaged થયું હોય ત્યારે Form 2ની annexure police complaintની copyને applicable document તરીકે દર્શાવે છે. Complaintનો પ્રકાર—online lost report, station diary, NCR કે FIR—સ્થાનિક police અને licensing authorityની પ્રક્રિયા પ્રમાણે બદલાઈ શકે છે.
ચોરીનો કેસ હોય તો તરત સ્થાનિક policeને જાણ કરો. અરજીમાં ખોટી FIR number અથવા બનાવટી complaint upload ન કરો. Damaged original licence ઉપલબ્ધ હોય તો તેને ફેંકી ન દો; RTO verification સમયે રજૂ કરવા કહેવામાં આવી શકે છે.
Duplicate Driving Licence Online અરજીની રીત
Sarathi interface અને menu labels રાજ્ય પ્રમાણે થોડાં બદલાઈ શકે છે, પરંતુ સામાન્ય flow આ પ્રમાણે છે:
- Official Sarathi Parivahan website ખોલો.
- Driving Licence જેણે issue કર્યું છે તે સંબંધિત state પસંદ કરો.
- Driving Licence menuમાંથી “Services on Driving Licence” અથવા Renewal/Duplicate/Others service પસંદ કરો.
- Driving Licence number, date of birth અને portal દ્વારા માગેલી વિગતો દાખલ કરો.
- Existing licence details verify કરીને “Duplicate Driving Licence” service પસંદ કરો.
- ગુમ, damaged, defaced અથવા અન્ય applicable reason પસંદ કરો.
- Portal બતાવે તે documents, photograph અથવા signature upload કરો.
- Applicable fee અને user charges payment screen પર ચકાસીને ચૂકવો.
- Application form, acknowledgement અને fee receipt download કરીને સાચવો.
- Appointment અથવા RTO visit બતાવવામાં આવે તો originals, damaged licence અને receipt સાથે જાઓ.
Official Parivahan FAQ મુજબ online procedure પછી concerned RTO original documents અને fee slip સાથે visit કરવા કહેવામાં આવી શકે છે. કેટલાક statesમાં document upload અથવા online payment ઉપલબ્ધ ન પણ હોય. Screen પર application complete દેખાય ત્યાં સુધી માત્ર payment successને final approval ન માનો.
Fee કેટલી છે?
Duplicate Driving Licence માટે એક fixed amount તમામ states, RTOs અને transaction modesમાં લાગુ પડતું નથી. Prescribed licence fee ઉપરાંત smart-card, postal અથવા user charges portal પર અલગ દેખાઈ શકે છે.
Payment કરતા પહેલાં service name “Duplicate Driving Licence” અને fee breakup તપાસો. Transaction failed અથવા pending હોય તો તરત બીજી payment ન કરો; Sarathiના Fee Payments અથવા Verify Payment Status optionથી status તપાસો. Official receipt વગર agent અથવા અજાણી payment linkનો ઉપયોગ ન કરો.
RTO visit ફરજિયાત છે?
તે state અને selected RTOની online-service configuration પર આધાર રાખે છે. Portal document upload, eKYC અથવા contactless flow પૂરો કરાવે તો visitની જરૂર ઓછી થઈ શકે છે. પરંતુ acknowledgement slip originals સાથે RTO visit, biometric, photograph, signature અથવા scrutiny બતાવે તો applicantએ હાજર રહેવું પડે છે.
Application બીજા રાજ્યમાંથી કરી રહ્યા હો તો portalમાં service ઉપલબ્ધ છે કે નહીં તે તપાસો. Permanent Driving Licence સમગ્ર ભારતમાં valid હોવા છતાં duplicate issue અંગે local RTO અથવા original licensing authority additional guidance આપી શકે છે.
Application status અને receipt કેવી રીતે તપાસવી?
Sarathi website પર state પસંદ કર્યા પછી Application Status option ખોલો. Application number, date of birth અને captcha દાખલીને current status જુઓ. Acknowledgement અને payment receiptમાં રહેલો application number સાચવો.
Status “scrutiny”, “pending at RTO” અથવા “document verification” બતાવે તો acknowledgement slipમાં આપેલી instruction અનુસરો. Rejection reason દેખાય તો નવી application શરૂ કરતાં પહેલાં existing application અને payment status ચકાસો.
Duplicate licence મળવામાં કેટલો સમય લાગે?
Duplicate licence માટે કોઈ એક nationwide guaranteed delivery period નથી. Document verification, RTO workload, printing, dispatch અને state workflow પ્રમાણે સમય બદલાઈ શકે છે. Portal અથવા RTOએ આપેલી timelineને અનુસરો અને application numberથી progress તપાસો.
Approval પછી licence electronic recordમાં update થઈ શકે છે અને physical cardની dispatch પ્રક્રિયા state પ્રમાણે અલગ હોઈ શકે છે. Payment receipt અથવા submitted application પોતે Driving Licenceનું replacement નથી.
અરજીમાં થતી સામાન્ય ભૂલો
- Driving Licence number અથવા date of birth ખોટી દાખલ કરવી.
- Renewal, correction અને Duplicate service વચ્ચે ખોટો વિકલ્પ પસંદ કરવો.
- Police complaint અથવા damaged licenceની readable copy ન આપવી.
- Cropped, blurred અથવા password-protected files upload કરવી.
- Payment pending હોવા છતાં ફરી fee ચૂકવવી.
- Acknowledgement slipમાં RTO visit લખેલું હોવા છતાં હાજર ન થવું.
- Licence record અને identity detailsમાં spelling mismatch અવગણવી.
Submit કરતાં પહેલાં licence number, issuing state, applicant name અને selected service ખાસ ચકાસો. Application numberનો screenshot રાખવા કરતાં PDF acknowledgement અને receipt download કરવી વધુ ઉપયોગી છે.
વારંવાર પૂછાતા પ્રશ્નો
Driving Licenceની photocopy ન હોય તો અરજી થઈ શકે?
Licence number અથવા record retrieve થઈ શકે તો portal process શરૂ થઈ શકે છે, પરંતુ selected RTO police complaint અને identity verification સહિત additional proof માગી શકે છે. જૂની photocopy ઉપલબ્ધ ન હોય તે બાબત complaint અને applicationમાં સાચી રીતે જણાવો.
FIR દરેક કેસમાં ફરજિયાત છે?
Form 2 lost, mutilated, defaced અથવા damaged licence માટે police complaint copy દર્શાવે છે. કયા પ્રકારની complaint સ્વીકારાશે તે local police, state અને RTO પ્રમાણે બદલાઈ શકે છે. Portal acknowledgement અથવા licensing authorityની current instruction અનુસરો.
Damaged Driving Licence હોય તો શું કરવું?
Duplicate service પસંદ કરો અને damaged original licence સાચવી રાખો. Application અથવા RTO visit સમયે તેને surrender અથવા verification માટે માગવામાં આવી શકે છે.
Duplicate licence માટે driving test આપવો પડે?
આ existing licenceની replacement service છે, new licence application નથી. સામાન્ય duplicate caseમાં fresh driving test processનો ભાગ નથી; પરંતુ record mismatch, licence validity અથવા authorityની scrutiny માટે અલગ instruction મળી શકે છે.
Online application કર્યા પછી RTO જવું પડશે?
State-specific workflow પર આધાર રાખે છે. Acknowledgement slip appointment અથવા original-document verification બતાવે તો RTO visit જરૂરી છે.
